Lifetime Health Guarantees

Lifetime Heart Murmur Guarantee - If the puppy should be diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian with a debilitating heart murmur, grade four or higher, that is not surgically or otherwise treatable by a licensed veterinarian during its lifetime, the puppy will be replaced free of charge.

Lifetime Elbow Dysplasia Guarantee - If the puppy should be diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian with severe elbow dysplasia that is not surgically or otherwise treatable by a licensed veterinarian during its lifetime, the puppy will be replaced free of charge.

Lifetime Congenital or Genetic Guarantee - If the puppy should die from a congenital or genetic defect diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian, the puppy will be replaced free of charge.

Lifetime limited Virus/Disease Guarantee - If the puppy should die from rabies, heartworm, or leptospirosis diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian, the puppy will be replaced free of charge.

Lifetime Hip Dysplasia Guarantee - If the puppy should be diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian with crippling hip dysplasia requiring veterinary surgical repair during its lifetime, the puppy will be replaced free of charge.

Lifetime Limited Health Guarantee - If the puppy should die, whether by accident or disease sustained subsequent to purchase, or shall be lost or stolen, the customer will be given a credit of 20% of the purchase price towards the purchase of another puppy.

Fourteen Day Health Guarantee - If the puppy is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian as “unfit for purchase” within 14 days after purchase, the customer has the option to return the puppy for a refund, return the puppy for a replacement, or to keep the puppy and receive reimbursement of reasonable veterinary fees incurred to attempt to cure the illness, up to the purchase price. Lifetime Training

Before a customer even takes their new puppy home, our staff goes through housebreaking procedures step by step. Our housebreaking techniques are applied around a working couples schedule and requires no paper training. In addition, some breeds can be litter box trained which works well for elderly clients, customers that work long hours, or apartment dwellers. Of course, once the puppy is at home, the training goes further. Our staff are available by phone seven days a week for any questions or advice the new puppy owners have about housebreaking, feeding, problem correction etc. In addition, our website offers private access to an online site with tons of advice covering many aspects of obedience training, socialization, feeding, and care for your puppy!

All Puppies come with Free Unlimited Lifetime Training. Our digital course is designed for Humans and Dogs and covers the basics of puppyhood to the more advanced training techniques such as Off Leash and Hand Signal. Our course is mobile friendly with field sheets to practice in the backyard along with videos, pictures and of course a lot of text.

Our Training Program starts with the basics from getting home with your new puppy to the first few months, but don't worry if you want to talk to someone we're here for you.

Vaccines and De-Wormings

Free Veterinarian Care

All Puppies will be up-to-date with Vaccines and De-wormings and full medical history will be detailed in their Health Certificate.

All of the puppies offered for sale through our licensed facility have been examined by a minimum of two licensed veterinarians prior to being offered for sale. Every puppy we sell is certified by a licensed veterinarian as “fit for sale”. In addition, each puppy receives age appropriate vaccinations and parasite control treatment.

Our veterinarian is on call and visits us often to assist us in maintaining our state of the art facility where our puppies are our utmost concern. Each puppy is examined shortly after arrival and then re-examined as needed and/or every 14 days while it stays with us.

EXAM BY TWO VETS

It’s important to us that our customers feel that we are doing our best, therefore of our puppies are examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to arrival to us and examined again by a Florida licensed veterinarian prior to sale to add a double layer of protection that our puppies are ready for their new homes.

PUPPY VACCINATIONS & DE-WORMINGS

All puppies receive antibodies from their fully vaccinated mothers at the time of birth. After a short time however, those antibodies start to lessen, requiring the breeder to provide additional protections against disease and viruses by vaccinating each puppy at the appropriate age and prior to leaving their mom and arriving at Chews A Puppy. Upon arrival to Chews A Puppy, our attending veterinarian will place all of our new arrivals on a vaccination schedule to ensure proper protection and antibodies continue until they get “selected” for their forever homes.

EXAMINATION OF PUPPIES

Each of our puppies has been extensively examined by a Florida State licensed Veterinarian prior to sale. Each physical exam consists of a thorough examination of ears, eyes, mouth, teeth, gums, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, musculoskeletal system, skin, coat, and more. This extensive medical exam provides additional assurance to our customers that our puppies are ready to be selected for their forever homes! To provide further peace of mind, our customers are welcome to make an appointment with one of our participating veterinary hospitals for a free health exam within 30 days after purchase!

SOCIALIZATION

Although the breeder and their family handle all of the early socialization for our puppies, upon arrival, our kennel staff and management team provide for the puppies all of their dietary, grooming and socialization needs on a daily basis. Acclimating the puppies and teaching them to be calm while brushing, nail clipping, and bathing is just a small part of our socialization program. The puppies are handled daily in a variety of situations and with different people so that when they reach their new home they are happy, well adjusted companions, and ready for their forever homes to continue with their training and socialization to ensure that they are well adjusted members of the family.

The form given at time of purchase must be presented at initial veterinarian visit for complementary veterinary services to be provided through participating Veterinarians.

Lifetime Identification

Each of our puppies is microchipped prior to sale and is ready for activation by the new pet owner. This tiny implant is permanently placed near the shoulder blade of each puppy and offers safety and peace of mind, once registered by the new puppy owner, if the puppy is ever lost or stolen, he has the opportunity to be returned safely to his loving family.

All the Puppies are Microchipped and ready to be ENROLLED under your Name, Phone Number, Address and other personal details.

About Microchipping

Nationally, every two seconds a family pet is lost. That represents millions of pets every year!

Shelters do their very best to locate owners, but if your pet has no form of identification, there’s not much they can do. Shelters are already caring for so many lost and homeless pets and can only keep them all for a short period of time. Developed by a veterinarian, the micro-chip is a tiny cylinder (smaller than a grain of rice) that contains a personal, one of a kind identification number that is so tiny that it fits through a hypodermic needle. The transport and arrival of the puppies is an important step in their wellbeing after leaving their mom and we want to make that experience as relaxing as possible. For that reason, each puppy is delivered to us by licensed and inspected transportation vehicles that are in compliance of state and federal regulations driven by experienced drivers and cared for by puppy technicians that provide quality of care during their travel time.
