NEW Peagle Puppies Arrive Weekly
Peagle Breed Information
The Peagle is a designer crossbreed whose parents are the Beagle and the Pekingese. Overall, this fairly new crossbreed is fun, social, and very humorous—they’ll do just about anything to get their owner’s attention.
Peagles are intelligent and easy going, and therefore should be easy to train. Training sessions should be engaging and consistent, otherwise the Peagle will become bored and stubborn. This breed is naturally social, and they get along with children and other pets well. To ensure this, socialization from early on is necessary.
Peagles enjoy being the center of attention and will provide plenty of entertainment with their goofy antics. They are also very loyal and protective of their family members. This breed is moderately active and will require daily exercise that includes long walks, trips to the dog park, and running around in the yard. Of course, the yard should be fenced in as they may inherit their Beagle parent’s prey instincts and chase down smaller animals.
These dogs are suited for all types of homes and families, as long as they are properly trained, socialized, and exercised. Peagles, like most designer breeds, tend to suffer from separation anxiety, and should not be left alone for long periods of time.
