Mini Bulldog Breed Information
The Mini Bulldog is a relatively new designer crossbreed. Like most newer crossbreeds or hybrid breeds, not much is known about their breeding history. The parents of the Mini Bulldog are the English Bulldog and the Pug. Not to be confused with the Mini English Bulldog, this breed gets its “mini” sizing from its Pug parent.

Neither of the parent breeds are known for aggression or stubbornness, so training the Mini Bulldog should be an easy feat. They’re clever and eager to please, making them a good option for first time dog owners. Mini Bulldogs are social, patient, and fun loving. They’ll get along with everyone, including children of all ages and other pets. Of course, early socialization is necessary as is training to curb any behavioral issues.
This is not a very active breed, but they still require short daily walks as well as interactive playtime to prevent obesity. They’re favorite thing to do is nap on their owner’s lap. This makes them an ideal companion for seniors and owners that have mobility issues. Like most breeds, the Mini Bulldog may develop separation anxiety, but can be trained to get used to being alone from time to time.
