The Havapom, also referred to as the “Ewokian” is a toy-sized designer crossbreed whose parents are the Pomeranian and the Havenese. They’re easily recognizable for their teddy bear or “ewok” appearance (hence the nickname Ewokian). They’re also a low-shedding breed, which makes them suitable for allergy sufferers.

Between the Havapom’s personality and face, they’re hard to resist. These dogs are playful, affectionate, and goofy. They get along great with kids and make the perfect family dog as well as the perfect single’s companion. Of course, like most affectionate breeds, the Havapom does not like to be left alone for long periods of time.
Havapoms do well in any sized homes due to their small size. They’re energetic yet only require moderate exercise, which can easily be burned off running around the house. However, 30-60 minute daily walks are necessary to keep them in shape and get them the fresh air they need. These intelligent pups are eager to please, so training should be a breeze. They require proper socialization early on to avoid behavioral issues. In some cases, Havapoms may inherit a stubborn streak from their Pomeranian side, which will take a bit more patience during training sessions.
